Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between DEG and RAD mode?
DEG mode interprets angles in degrees (360° = full circle), while RAD mode uses radians (2π = full circle). Most everyday calculations use degrees.
What does the log function calculate?
The log button calculates the common logarithm (base 10). The ln button calculates the natural logarithm (base e ≈ 2.718).
Can I use parentheses for grouping?
Yes! Use the ( and ) buttons to group expressions. For example, (2+3)×4 = 20, respecting the correct order of operations.
Is there a maximum number I can calculate?
